2009-2010 Season

The Green MacHHHHine team, team 3129, was founded in the year 2009 as a FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) team.  Here is a link to the FRC page on the First website.

We were affiliated with the 4H organization (which is where the four H's in MacHHHHine in our team name comes from).  We went to the 2009 Cal Games competition playing the game "Lunacy".  Here is the game animation for Lunacy.
At the 2009 Cal Games competition, we won the "Highest Rookie Seed" award. Then, in the 2009-2010 season, we played the game "Breakaway".  Here is the game animation for Breakaway.  We competed at the Silicon Valley Regional, and won both the "Highest Rookie Seed" and "Rookie All-Star" awards.  We were also awarded the custom "Coolest Rookie" award from team 701, the Robovikes.

Here is an album of pictures from this season.

Here are two videos one of our members made:

Off the field, though, we had a community outreach program, where we taught lego robotics to younger students. It was very successful; we had about 25 younger students at every meeting.

The team also did demos for large corporations, the younger students, and a local HOPE facility.

These were some important events for our team during the 2009-2010 season:
